It is easy to take for granted all of the great motorcycles being built on a weekly basis. Going through all the hundreds of bikes posted on Wind-blown this year, I realized just what an amazing time it is right now for the custom motorcycle scene. The creativity, quality of work, and refinement of design builders exhibit (including shed builders) these days, made it almost impossible to compile a “bike of the year” list. To give you an idea of how difficult it was for me to narrow it down to these fifteen bikes, my initial list was over forty bikes long (and thought I was being picky). When choosing my bikes, I didn’t have any specific criteria I was looking for. Rather, these are the bikes that stirred emotion in me; the bikes that left a lasting impression, and stuck in my mind throughout the year.
Getting the list down to a manageable number was a challenging enough task. To pick a single motorcycle as the absolute best bike of the year, is just too much responsibility for one man to assume. So I leave it up to you, Wind-blown readers. Please take the time to cast your vote for the bike of the year in the poll below, and be sure to share the poll with other motorcycle enthusiasts you know. You’ve got until 2014 arrives, midnight January 1st, central time. For more information on the bikes and builders, follow the links below the poll.
Thanks for your help, and happy holidays to you and yours.
